Trained at Manchester, qualified in 1992. SpR rotations in North West. Work at Manchester Royal Infirmary and Royal Manchester Childen’s hospital. Widely published in the academic medical literature. Associate Editor of the Emergency Medical Journal. Research interests in major incidents, ED diagnosis and education. Co-chair of Greater Manchester Comprehensive Local Research Network for Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. Broad interest in education. Foundation Program Director at CMFT. GMC Associate in education. Co-developer of StEmlyns and BestBets websites. Examiner for the College of Emergency Medicine.
