Biography

I qualified at Manchester University, and then trained in Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine in Manchester, Salford and Yorkshire. I became a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at MRI in 1988. I oversaw the move to the separate children’s Emergency Department in 2009. I have always had a strong management focus, being Clinical Director of specialist services, Clinical Lead for PEM for 6 years and am currently Clinical Lead for MRI. I am a GMC performance assessor, and a CSER representative.
