Dr. Prasun Chakravorty is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), specifically at Saint Mary’s Hospital on the Oxford Road Campus.
In addition to his clinical role, Dr. Chakravorty has contributed to medical research. Notably, he contributed to a study published in The Lancet Infectious Diseases journal, which examined the clinical features and management of individuals hospitalized with monkeypox across the UK.
He has also presented clinical cases at medical conferences, such as discussing opportunistic infections at the Federation of Infection Societies Conference in 2017.
