This years’ event will be hosted by the Interim Trust Chair, Trevor Rees, and as in previous years we are planning some fun, interactive activities from several NHS Professions/Departments, including demonstrations from:
Midwifery
Medical Engineering
Pharmacy
Physiotherapy
Speech & Language Therapy
We’ll need some eager volunteers for the Orthopaedic Team – who’ll be demonstrating ‘plaster of paris’ techniques again this year! As well as NHS stand-holders giving practical demonstrations and career tips, the event provides a safe space for young people to receive general health & well-being information from professionals who’ll be in our ‘looking after you’ area including:
The Youth Forum & Specialised play services
Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services
The Northern Contraception & Sexual Health Service (Healthy Living)
