Biography

Dr Gupta graduated from Mumbai university in 1998. He had further specialist training in Northeast of England. He joined Saint Mary’s Hospital in 2018.

He also has keen interest in research. He took time out for research during his training to conduct a clinical RCT for which he was awarded a PhD from Durham University. He is “research champion” of the department, co-investigator of local RCT and co-PI for a portfolio study.

He also has PGC in child health from Glasgow University and is attached with University of Manchester as Honorary Senior Lecturer. As part of this role, he is academic advisor to medical students and supervises them for various projects. Most of these projects have been presented in national/international conferences. His interest in postgraduate education has led to him organising national and international workshops/study days.
