Biography

Miss Megha Mistry qualified from Queen Mary University of London in 2011 and subsequently trained in the East of England Deanery in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She was awarded her Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2017 and was competitively selected to complete her training in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the Norfolk and Norwich University hospital. She completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2023 which included training in complex minimal access surgery and endometriosis care. In 2024, she joined the team at Northwest Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Centre (Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust) where she is now Co-Lead for the Complex Endometriosis Service.

She has published in peer reviewed journals and her research interests include investigating novel treatments for the management of endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain.

Her special interests include minimal access surgery for endometriosis and benign surgery and the management of chronic pelvic pain.
