Biography
Dr Clayton trained at Leeds University and qualified in 1990. He undertook research leading to an MD in Leeds, during which time he was trained in laparoscopic surgery.
Dr Clayton undertook fellowship training in Australia in laparoscopic surgery and gynaecological oncology. He is sub-specialty accredited as a gynaecological oncologist, having undertaken the Barts/Marsden training programme. He was appointed as a consultant at Saint Mary’s Hospital in 2003 and has an out-patient clinic at The Christie Hospital.
