Biography

Dr Hogan graduated from Manchester medical school in 2011. He subsequently completed paediatric speciality training and neonatology subspeciality training in Manchester and the North West region. He also has a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science (pharmacology) from the University of Galway, and an MA in Clinical Education from Edge Hill University. He has been a consultant at St Mary’s ORC since 2022.

He has an interest in education. He is a course director for RCUK Newborn Life Support (NLS), North West NeoSim and Newborn Palliative and End of Life Care (NPELC) courses. He also teaches as a faculty member on Advanced resuscitation of the Newborn infant (ARNI) courses.

He has previously been the clinical lead for Quality Improvement and audit in Newborn services. He is currently the Clinical lead for PMRT / mortality and tier 1 workforce.
