Congratulations to the MFT team on being Highly Commended for Cancer Care Team of the Year at last night’s 2021 BMJ Awards.
The accolade commended the extraordinary multidisciplinary teamwork across MFT’s gynaecological oncology, pathology and genetics teams.
Together the team developed evidence, changed NICE guidance and put into practice Lynch syndrome testing for all endometrial cancer patients.
The BMJ Awards said to the team: “the past 18 months have seen incredible pressures put on all healthcare teams, and to have seen such resilience and commitment from you has been outstanding. We have been so impressed by all of the projects this year, and are so pleased to have been able to celebrate the awards… and show recognition for all our teams.”
