We have reached an exciting stage in our plans for a once in a generation, transformational change at North Manchester General Hospital (NMGH), through the development of a Strategic Regeneration Framework (SRF).
The SRF is a critical document which sets out the blueprint for the redevelopment of the hospital site over the next 10-15 years. We held a public consultation on the SRF during the winter of 2020/21 and 86% of the people who responded supported our vision and plans.
Our proposals were approved by Manchester City Council in March 2021, and enabling work for the initial phase of the redevelopment is now underway.
