Biography

Mr McIntyre qualified as a doctor at Cambridge University in 1990 and trained as a urologist in Manchester prior to appointment as a consultant at MRI in 2003. He has a research MD (prostate cancer) and a masters degree in medical education.

As a consultant he has previously subspecialised in pelvic cancer surgery and lapascopic surgery and has has senior educational leadership roles. He was an Associate Medical Director from 2018 – 2024.

As his retirement approaches he is concentrating on clinic based diagnostic urology and medical education.
