About

Mr Adwan qualified in Dentistry from Jordan University of Science & Technology (2003) and Medicine/ Surgery from University of Birmingham (2013). He worked in many NHS hospitals throughout the UK. He completed his Foundation Training in the West Midlands hospitals before moving to the Northwest for his Higher Surgical Training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He obtained his Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2020.

He joined our team as a Consultant Surgeon in 2021. He specialises in treating head & neck cancer, facial reconstructive surgery as well as surgical management of skin cancer. He is well versed in all other aspects of the speciality including removal of wisdom teeth, jaw cysts, buried roots, facial trauma, dental implants with bone grafts and sinus lifts, management of oral lesions, salivary gland disease, TMJ and facial pain, as well as facial aesthetics (surgical and non-surgical).

He is a core member of the Head & Neck as well as the Skin Multidisciplinary Teams for Greater Manchester.   Mr Adwan also has a clinic and list at Tameside General Hospital.
