Biography

Trained and qualified in PÉCS Medical University in Hungary. Trained in general surgery in the first department of surgery of PÉCS Medical University in Hungary before moving to transplantation. Moved to UK and worked in Manchester Royal Infirmary since 2000. Was appointed a Consultant transplant surgeon in Manchester in 2007. Have taken a major part in the development of Manchester’s evolving pancreatic transplant programme and also a key member in the development of the unit’s non-heart beating donor programme.
