Biography:
Trained at The University of Manchester, qualified as a doctor in 1991 became a Consultant in 2001 after completing a PhD in Genetic risk in rheumatoid arthritis. Work at Manchester Royal Infirmary, Kellgren centre for Rheumatology.
Active in research and Director of the Centre for Musculoskeletal Research at The University of Manchester; published >150 papers; Expertise in precision medicine; Awarded NIHR Senior Investigator award 2016
