Biography
- Graduated from the University of Manchester
- Completed surgical training in Manchester and the North West
- Further specialist experience at the Cleveland Clinic (USA) and at stone centres in Amsterdam and Turin
- Honorary Professor at the University of Salford
- Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester
- Awarded the prestigious British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) John Anderson Award in 2015 for contribution to urology in an outstanding or inspirational way
- Over 30 publications and book chapters to date
- Research doctorate (MD) from the University of Manchester after an intensive study of prostate stem cell biology at the Christie Hospital
- Qualified educator (PGCert Distinction)
- Former Training Programme Director for Urology in Manchester
- Invited faculty member on numerous UK instructional courses
- Lectured internationally on the management of stone disease
