The dermatology department offers clinical services to adult patients from MFT, delivering care for a wide range of skin conditions.
The dermatology research team is led by Dr John Lear. Dr Lear has experience in designing and leading research studies as both Principal Investigator at MFT and Chief Investigator in the UK, especially within the areas of psoriasis, eczema and skin cancer.
The dermatology research team is currently working on NIHR portfolio adopted observational studies and clinical drug trials within the areas of Actinic Keratosis, Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Basal Cell Carcinoma and Chronic Urticaria.
