Service Description:
The Anaesthesia team provides anaesthetic, preoperative assessment and pain services for the University Dental Hospital of Manchester as well as for Manchester Royal Infirmary and Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.
The pain service provides specialist support to patients and clinical staff in managing and reducing pain safely and effectively.
Before surgery some patients are offered an appointment with a consultant anaesthetist to assess and help minimise anaesthetic risk.
