The interventional radiology department at the Manchester Royal Infirmary consists of 3 dedicated x-ray rooms and a recovery area.
The department sees approximately 5,750 patients each year.
In addition, MRI boasts a hybrid suite which consists of state of the art interventional x-ray equipment in theatre conditions. This facilitates complex endovascular procedures which are undertaken by a combination of interventional radiologists and vascular surgeons.
