Biography

Qualified from Guy’s & St Thomas’s Hospitals (UMDS), London in 1997. SpR Radiology training in the North West Deanery, 2001-2007. Took up first Consultant post as Consultant Radiologist and Nuclear Medicine Lead at North Manchester General Hospital in 2008, then Nuclear Medicine/Cardiac Imaging Lead and Consultant Radiologist at Russell’s Hall Hospital, Dudley in 2012 and then more recently at CMFT in July 2013, as a Consultant in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. I have a special interest in PET-CT, linked to nuclear medicine and also cardiac imaging including cardiac SPECT, PET and CT. I have completed a PET-CT fellowship at the World renown University Hospital, Zurich prior to my first Consultant job back in 2008. Carrying out PHD work at University of Salford and Royal Liverpool Hospital (Fluoride bone PET-CT imaging) Honorary Senior Research Fellow, University of Salford Won Royal College of Radiologists RCR Kodak educational bursary 2012, and used it to fund a mini-fellowship in cardiac multi-modality imaging, in University Hospital Zurich, September 2013 further extending my knowledge in cardiac CT, PET-CT and MRI.
