All devices are made to a prescription provided by the clinician treating the patient.
All Dental Technologists in the Laboratory service are registered with the General Dental Council as Dental Care Professionals
The laboratory has a teaching suite where undergraduate training is undertaken as a joint collaboration with the Manchester Metropolitan University.
