MANDEC is staffed by a Centre Manager, two Conference Organisers and a Centre Attendant. Its facilities include a multidisciplinary hands-on skills classroom, large and small group teaching accommodation, an auditorium seating up to 120 people and an exhibition and reception hosting area. As well as providing and promoting postgraduate education, the Centre is a commercial asset which is used as a venue for Professional, University and Society meetings at regional, national and international levels.
The Centre is managed through a Management Board and Executive, which are responsible for the efficient running and effective use of the Centre. At present, the Board is accountable to the Trust through the Divisional Management Team of the University Dental Hospital of Manchester.
