The Greater Manchester Cancer Awards took place in the evening on Tuesday 18th October 2022. The award ceremony was hosted by Steve Bland and introduced by Andy Burnham (Mayor of Greater Manchester). Out of 60 award submissions the Manchester Lung Health Check Programme was shortlisted as 1 of 3 in the category “outstanding care”. The Lung Health Check Programme was awarded highly commended in this category. TLHC programme team members were in attendance for the awards ceremony including clinicians, nurses, admin, management and locality representatives.
