Everything was fine. The Lung Health Check nurse found nothing further to investigate and you will be discharged from the Lung Health Check Programme. A letter will be sent to you and your GP to inform them.
OR
We have made a recommendation. You may be referred to your GP or to another NHS team in the community. Please refer to your Lung Health Check results letter.

Even though you may have been found to be at low risk for lung cancer via your Lung Health Check, it is still important to contact your GP if you are experiencing any concerning symptoms.
If you have any of the below symptoms or are concerned about your lung health please contact your GP:
- Persistent cough that lasts three weeks or more
- Breathlessness
- Repeat chest infections
- Chest and/or shoulder pain
- Loss of appetite and/or unexplained weight loss
- Change in a long term cough, or a cough that gets worse
- Coughing up blood
- Unexplained fatigue or lack of energy
- Hoarseness
- Finger clubbing
- Blood clots
