Biography

Trained at the University of Glasgow qualifying in 1996. Initially pursued a career in paediatric surgery working at various hospitals including Alder Hey in Liverpool and St Mary’s in Manchester before changing to emergency medicine. Undertook research post prior to starting registrar training and still in process of completing PhD on the diagnosis of heart failure in the emergency department. Also section editor of EMJ.
