Biography

I qualified in Medicine in Leicester in 1992, specialising in Histopathology after house jobs. My first Consultant post was at Nottingham City Hospital from March 2000 and I have been a sub-specialist NHS Consultant Histopathologist at MRI since February 2002. Whilst a lecturer in Pathology at the University of Nottingham, I completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (higher education teaching qualification.) I obtained Membership of the Royal College of Pathologists in 1999 and was promoted to Fellow in 2007. I am an examiner for the Royal College of Pathologists.
