Biography

Jonathan graduated in medicine from the University of Manchester in 2004 (MB ChB). He completed postgraduate training and exams in anaesthesia (FRCA 2009) and critical care (FFICM 2013) at hospitals across the North West of England. Following completion of training he undertook a clinical research fellowship in Melbourne, Australia. Jonathan took up his consultant post at Central Manchester University Hospitals in July 2014 and has since become the department’s lead clinician for research in adult critical care. He also sits on Greater Manchester’s NIHR local clinical research network for critical care.
