Cardiac imaging with a focus on echocardiography (including stress, exercise and transoesophageal echocardiography) and heart valve disease. Supervision of specialist clinic for surveillance of patients with heart valve problems. Assessment of patients for potential heart valve surgery. Pre-operative assessment of patients with cardiac conditions.

Biography

Qualified from University of Manchester Medical School 1998. Trained in the North West regional and appointed to North West cardiology training scheme in 2002. Cardiology training around the North West including Manchester Royal Infirmary and Lancashire Cardiac Centre, Blackpool. Research degree (MD) obtained in Central Manchester investigating echocardiographic parameters affecting response to pacemakers in patients with heart failure. Consultant Cardiologist Lancashire Cardiac Centre April 2013 – June 2015. Appointed Consultant Cardiologist CMFT June 2015.
