Laparoscopic colorectal surgery, including surgery for bowel cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and diverticular disease; management of pelvic floor conditions; proctology; endoscopy.

Biography:

Following graduation from the University of Leeds in 2003, Mr Hornung undertook his training in Yorkshire and then higher surgical training in the North West.  During this time he was a research fellow at University Hospital of South Manchester where he was awarded a MD from the University of Manchester for his work on the investigation and treatment of pelvic floor conditions.  He undertook a laparoscopic (keyhole) colorectal fellowship in Yorkshire before being appointed as a consultant in 2017.
