Biography
I trained at Leeds University and qualified In 1982. I initially trained in surgery working in Manchester, Wolverhampton and London. I completed my higher training in Emergency Medicine in London. My particular clinical and academic interest is in minor head injury and traumatic intracranial haemorrhage on which I have published several papers (e.g A meta-analysis of clinical correlates that predict significant intracranial injury in adults with minor head trauma. Dunning J., Stratford-Smith P., Lecky F., Batchelor JS et al. Journal of Neurotrauma. 21: 7; 887-885. 2004).
