In April 2024 we opened a new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in Harpurhey, North Manchester.
The CDC is based at the North City Family and Fitness Centre, and provides North Manchester residents with access to ophthalmology, cardiology, lung function and respiratory sleep diagnostic tests closer to home and away from our major hospital sites such as Manchester Royal Infirmary, Wythenshawe Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital.
How can I attend my diagnostic appointment at the North Manchester CDC?
Your GP or hospital care team will refer you for your required diagnostic test, at which point you will be contacted by MFT booking teams and will be able to select the most convenient location for you.
The North Manchester CDC provides you with an additional choice, and doesn’t replace any of your current options. You may wish to have your appointment at a CDC location or another MFT hospital site.
