Biography

Fiona studied at Universities of St Andrews and Manchester. She then did her General Medical & Gastroenterology training in the North West, including time out to do a PhD.

Fiona was a Consultant at University Hospital of North Midlands ( Stoke) from 2003-2017 and at Keele University helping develop the new medical curriculum there.

Fiona moved to The Manchester Royal Infirmary and the University of Manchester in 2017.  She now leads the MFT Nutrition team and has an interest in IBD and Medical Education.  She is the Associate Director for student Experience at the Manchester Medical School.
