Biography
Dr Hannah Durrington trained in medicine at Cambridge University (Newnham College) 1994-2000. She completed a PhD (Wellcome Clinical Research Training Fellowship) at Cambridge University (Newnham College) from 2006-2009.
In 2012 she became a NIHR Clinical Lecturer at Manchester University in the Centre for Biological Timing. In 2014 Dr Durrington was awarded an Asthma UK Senior Clinical Academic Development Award for three years. In 2017 she was awarded the Dean’s Clinical Prize.
In 2021 Dr Durrington became a MRC Clinician Scientist. Her research group is interested in the Circadian Biology of Asthma and her clinical interests are in treating and managing asthma.
