Biography
Mr Badr earned his dental degree in 1996 from Cairo University in Egypt followed by specialty training in Oral Surgery including trauma and jaw deformity surgery which he completed in 2003.
Mohamed moved to the UK to begin his PhD in advanced dental implants and bone augmentation procedures form the University of Manchester. His PhD degree was awarded in 2010 and then was granted an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer Fellowship (ACL) from Sheffield Teaching Hospitals through which Mohamed completed his UK specialty training in Oral Surgery.
Mohamed was subsequently added to the Oral Surgery specialist list and joined our Trust as a Consultant Oral Surgeon. Mohamed performs all surgical procedures under local anaesthesia, sedation or general anaesthesia and has a special interest in dental implants and bone augmentation procedures.
Mr Badr also holds an Honorary Senior Lecturer post with the University of Manchester and regularly teaches and supervises both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
