Biography

Paediatric training in Bristol and Sheffield. Completed PhD with Prof Caroline Dive in molecular pharmacology at UoM in 2000. Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant at RMCH since 2001. Co-Director of the Manchester Clinical Trials Unit, Director of the MRes in Oncology at UoM. National Lead for the Paediatric Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC) network. Member of the NCRI CCL new agents and neuroblastoma sub groups. National Chief Investigator of the SIOPEN VERITAS trial in high risk neuroblastoma. Training Program Director for Paediatrics ST4-8 for Greater Manchester and Lancashire. Member of NICE Technology Appraisal Committee D.
