Introducing ‘Single Sign-On’
Don’t have the MyMFT App? No problem: from 23 March 2026, it’ll be possible to sign into both apps using your NHS App credentials. This is called ‘Single Sign On’, and it can be used by both new and existing MyMFT users. If it’s your first time using MyMFT, Single Sign On will even take care of setting up your new account for you.
How do both apps work together?
Are you a Restorative Dentistry patient? Good news! The following feature will go live in your area from Monday 23 March, with similar options coming to other areas at a later date!
Over the coming months, we’ll be introducing some other new ways for the NHS App and MyMFT to work together. This will give patients more control over how they access their information, and how much detail they want to see.
For example, NHS App users with an appointment at one our MFT hospital sites/services will soon be able to see a small preview of their appointment details within the NHS App. This includes basic information such as the time of your appointment. For more detailed information, (such as pre-appointment checklists and medicines) users can click through to the MyMFT app*.
*Please note that this feature is not available for Proxy accounts.
