Kathy Cowell said: “I was privileged to attend this year’s annual celebratory event held by the Manchester Rare Conditions Centre.
“Everyone at the centre strives to be at the forefront of research and innovation in the field of rare conditions, by unlocking new treatments, improving diagnostic capabilities, and ultimately transforming the lives of those affected.
“In its first year, it has already established itself as the catalyst for a collaborative clinical approach, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care, from diagnosis to treatment, and beyond.”
“Everyone should feel very proud of what they have achieved in such a short period of time.”
Through partnerships with renowned institutions and organisations the centre is able to leverage collective knowledge, share best practice, and propel medical advancements.
