Biography
Studied Dentistry in Athens and Medicine in Sheffield. Basic Surgical training and Higher Specialty training completed in Oxford. Paediatric OMFS training in Cranofacial Unit, Melbourne RCH. Extensively involved in teaching and training as tutor in multiple courses (e.g. Dentist-on-the-Ward), as trainee representative at the British Association of OMFS (previously Members Rep and Fellows in Training Rep), as co-organiser of various trainee conferences, presenting scientific work nationally and internationally, and as co-author of books (including Oxford Handbooks), book chapters and papers in peer-reviewed journals. Appointed to Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2013 with clinics at Manchester Royal Infirmary, Trafford General Hospital, Dental Hospital, Salford Royal Hospital and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
