Biography
Mike Pemberton undertook his dental and medical degrees in Sheffield. He has worked in junior hospital dental and medical posts as well as general dental practice.
He undertook higher specialist training in Oral Medicine in Manchester and became a Consultant in 2000. Since then he has also been appointed as the Medical Director of University Dental Hospital Manchester and to a MAHSC honorary Clinical Chair.
He has publications in the British Medical Journal, British Dental Journal, Nature Genetics and the British Journal of Cancer. He has also acted as a guest editor for the British Dental Journal.
