Our services
Our performance in sexual health services has consistently been above the local and national averages and we aim to see the majority of patients within 48 hours. We provide advice and treatment for Syphilis, Gonorrhoea, Chlamydia, non-specific genital infections, Genital Herpes, Genital Warts, Trichomoniasis, Pediculosis Pubis and Scabies.
We offer and advice and treatment for a range of sexually transmitted diseases including Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B. The service also provides care and management of HIV infection. We also treat and manage a variety of non-sexually transmitted diseases including genital dermatology, smear tests, level 2 contraception, emergency contraception and post exposure prophylaxis. The department also offers psychosexual counselling.
