Biography

Dr Naveen Rao is a consultant paediatrician and at Wythenshawe since 2009. His areas of expertise include Paediatric respiratory medicine, Allergy, General paediatrics and Medical education. He is the clinical lead for RMCH managed clinical services and also leads the paediatric Cystic fibrosis and Allergy service at Wythenshawe hospital. The Paediatric CF service at Wythenshawe was awarded the first National Quality improvement award by the National CF registry. He is a member of The British Paediatric Respiratory society (BPRS), British Society of Clinical allergy and Immunology (BSACI) and European academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EACCI). He is also an active member of the Northwest Allergy network group, the North West Cystic fibrosis network group and the CF transition network group. He is a member of the Greater Manchester and East Cheshire strategic clinical networks and the national CYP Asthma Data & Digital working group.
