Biography
Dr Paul Abeles is a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. They specialise in the assessment and treatment of young people with complex psychological difficulties, with particular expertise in neurodevelopment, cognitive behavioural therapy and working with anxiety, obsessive compulsive presentations, and emotional disorders.
Alongside their clinical role, Paul has been actively involved in service development and research, contributing to projects aimed at improving patient engagement and access to evidence-based care. They have experience in developing age-appropriate resources and interventions for children and young people, and are committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care that supports young people and their families.
