The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital provides specialist healthcare services for children and young people throughout the North West, as well as nationally and internationally.
The hospital sees 200,000 patient visits each year and supports research in 25 sub-specialities and is internationally recognised as a leader in in five key areas: childhood cancer, child & adolescent mental health, growth disorders and endocrinology, inherited metabolic disease and nephrology.
The hospital has a dedicated National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Facility on site, which runs complex inpatient clinical trials.
