Hepatology

Manchester Liver Unit is one of the largest tertiary hepatology services in the North-West. It is the regional referral centre for the management of advanced liver disease and its complications including variceal bleeding, refractory ascites, hepatocellular cancer and assessment for liver transplantation in collaboration with the Leeds Liver transplant unit.
