Host Surrogacy
The Department of Reproductive Medicine can offer fertility treatment to Commissioning/Intending Couples with a Host Surrogate. The Commissioning/Intending Couple will use their own embryos and the Host Surrogate, recruited by the couple, will undergo IVF treatment on the couple’s behalf.
As surrogacy is a complex arrangement, the pathway to treatment will include a series of clinic appointments for both the Commissioning Couple and the Host Surrogate. All aspects of surrogacy arrangements will be comprehensively covered during consultations with clinicians, counsellors and nurses.
We advise both the Commissioning Couple and the Host Surrogate to seek independent legal advice prior to entering into the surrogacy arrangement.
