Biography
Dr Ahmed started in 2014 as a consultant Paediatrician with an interest in Neonatology at Wythenshawe Hospital. He undertook his paediatric training in the Yorkshire region where he also obtained an MSc in Child Health from the University of Leeds.
His areas of interest are care of new-borns and premature babies, nutrition and feeding in premature babies, respiratory diseases in children and medical education. He has conducted research in the use of simulation-based training for doctors in training and holds a postgraduate certificate in medical education. He actively participates in undergraduate teaching at University of Manchester. He holds position of Associate Hospital Dean in Manchester Medical School.
