MAHSC is a partnership between The University of Manchester and five NHS Organisations including MFT, uniting leading healthcare providers with world-class academics and researchers.

Our NHS Partners are some of the most highly rated in the country, and The University of Manchester is in the top three UK research universities (RAE 2008). We share a common goal of providing patients and clinicians with rapid access to the latest discoveries, and improving the quality and effectiveness of patient care. Our partnership, established in 2009, is at the heart of an extraordinary cluster of enterprise and discovery in the North of England.

Through extensive local, national and global collaborations, MAHSC is becoming a major biomedical and health hub, providing clinical and research leadership and helping healthcare organisations to reap the benefits of research and innovation to drive improvements in care.
