Biography
Dr Saleemi studied at the University of Dundee and qualified in 2000. She completed her specialist training in the Mersey region and was appointed as a Consultant at Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester in 2016.
Dr Saleemi has a special interest in Pre-term labour and has set up this service at Wythenshawe. She also has a specialist interest in multiple pregnancies and runs specialist clinics for these pregnancies and also sees other high-risk pregnancies in her Obstetric clinic.
She is Labour Ward Lead for Wythenshawe.
Dr Saleemi is the clinical lead for Preterm birth for GMEC and the obstetric clinical lead for Maternity Neonatal Safety Improvement Programme for GMEC.
