Virtual Appointments:
Virtual appointments take place through the MyMFT app using Microsoft Teams. You don’t need a Teams account.
Before your virtual appointment, please weigh yourself and complete home spirometry if you have the equipment.
MyMFT is our patient portal and mobile app connecting you to your medical information at the Manchester Foundation Trust. With MyMFT, you will have more access and control over your information than ever before. Phone and tablet users can download this app as a mobile app giving you access to your information at a time and place to suit you.
New patient appointments:
Take place on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 10-12pm. The first time you attend the cystic fibrosis clinic you should expect to be here for a couple of hours. This is to enable the consultant and CF multidisciplinary team to spend time getting to know you. Please see transition tab for more information.

Zero Tolerance Policy
MFT (Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust) follows the NHS’s Zero Tolerance Policy, meaning they have a strict “no-nonsense” approach to any violence, aggression, abuse (verbal or physical), or harassment (racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.) against staff, patients, or visitors, ensuring staff can work without fear. This policy includes immediate police involvement, removal from practice lists, and potentially other severe measures for unacceptable behaviour, though they consider patient illness when dealing with challenging situations, aiming for respect and dignity for all.
