Biography
Dr Tanney trained predominantly in Northern Ireland, then spending time in Melbourne working in Monash Newborn and as retrieval doctor for NETS Victoria. She took up her post as Consultant Neonatologist in Saint Mary’s Hospital in 2015, and since then has been developing her special interests in Medical Leadership and Professional Matters.
Dr Tanney’s leadership roles as Clinical Director for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit and Interim Associate Chief Medical Officer (Professional Matters) are complimentary, supporting the delivery of excellent neonatal care alongside ensuring high standards of practice amongst medical and dental practitioners.
