Biography
Mr Nnamdi Nwaejike has a medical degree from Queen’s University Belfast and an MD from Queen Mary’s, University of London.
On completion of basic surgical training in Northern Ireland, he was appointed National Cardiothoracic Trainee in the Northwest of England including rotations in Plymouth, Bristol and Papworth Hospitals.
Mr Nwaejike graduated from the accredited Advanced Cardiothoracic Fellowship Programme at Duke University Hospital, NC, USA.
On completion of training, he was appointed Consultant Cardiac and Cardiothoracic Transplant surgeon at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester.
Mr Nwaejike has published research papers and presented his work at national and international conferences.

Mr Nwaejike serves as the Trust Specialty Training Lead in cardiac surgery and transplantation at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) and is a member of the Northwest Cardiothoracic Surgery Training Committee.
